On Being Sentimental in a Fast World

Sentimental people often get a bad rap for being 'cluttered' or 'stuck in the past.' But for me, keeping a film roll, a ticket stub, or a voice note is about preserving the texture of a moment. In a world that moves so fast, holding on is an act of rebellion.

I think about the places that make me go '@@'—those small corners of the city where time feels like it's stretching. This is what I want this dashboard to be: a place for those thoughts that usually just live in my Notes app.
