15J: ENTITY_LOG

Hi!

I go by Ria, but my artist name is Maia Misa (still figuring out how committed I am to that, LOL).
I'm one-half of 15J—or '7.5J,' as some like to joke.

Our acoustic duo started when Denise Barredo, my friend and college roommate, asked me to play guitar for her audition to Ateneo Musicians Pool, our university's premier music org. We didn't expect to get in—it was our first time auditioning together—but we did!
What began as late-night jam sessions slowly became a real journey for us as performers and budding creatives.

Our first official gig was in 2023 as part of the AMP26 Bands Roster. We were one of four newbie bands selected to debut at Rites of Passage 26, the org's flagship showcase reintroducing live performances post-pandemic.

Our music has been mostly Filipino (OPM) songs so far, revolving around everyday musings of a 20-something: blast from the past (nostalgia), delulus, and moments inspired by conversations in our everyday lives.

Currently, we're on 'hiatus' but we hope to release more songs soon!
